Woke up early and went to sch. On the way there, gave Li Yi a 'wake-up-call'.
Reached and saw Wan Yi alone. Chatted about FAC. The others came. Sec 3s sharing their experience with us. Then dont rmb who took out her breakfast, and I realised that I've forgotten to bring my own one. =p Called LY for a quick 'delivery'. Jkjk ... Went to change. Ate breakfast and played ard. Thnks LY for the breakfast! =DDD Heard that Alissa, Lee Leng and You Bin will not be coming. ))=
Bus arrived. I realised that I've forgotten to take my suite coat when I'm in the bus ... =.= Nvm, one of our teams even forgot to bring their first aid kit. LoL! That's very very impt!
Reached SCSS. Heart started to pumped vigorously. I'm, obviously, nervous. Revised and went to the hall with our first aid kit and stuffs. After the long registration, the inspection commence. But before that, there's one woman checking our first aid stuffs. And she took away our face shields and antiseptic cream. After much arguing, we got it back again! LoL! While waiting for my grp to be inspected, I hardly breathe. LoL, so nervous you know!? Then I realised that Florence and my commands belongs to the 'boy-style', while the grps frm other schs belongs to the 'girl-style'. We're the odd one out. Or two? Ahahas! I get 'NC5' while Florence get 'NC9'. I dont think its gd, we're the last few grps you see. =.= In the waiting room, we chatted ... facing the windows outside, looking at the 'beautiful' scenery. =.= I kept telling my team 'Later whatever happens, just keep the smile on your faces, ok? Teachers like to say 'Wipe the smile off your face.', so let's do the opp!' LoL!
Footdrill: Did fairly well compared to our drills during the trainings. 3 mistakes made:
1. I went out of tune ))=
2. Said the command on the wrong leg ))=
3. Wei Yu adjusted ))=
Went back to the waiting rm. And the only thing in my mind is 'Am I fit to be a leader? Do I know how to lead? How can a leader who dont know how to lead be a leader?'. Ate lunch, Xu Xuan saw Chin Yee and both started laughing. LoL! Weirdo.
Hm Nursing: The judge was damn friendly and gd towards us. I dont need to report. LoL! And after the discussion, she told us what we've to do. LoL! I was shocked at that time. She gave us hints every time. Thnks to the nameless judge! =DDD We completed the whole thing in ard 10mins time ... when we're supposed to complete it in 20mins time. LoL!
Everyone was happy when we went back. Wanted to tell LY about it. But she dont seem to understand what I'm talking as I cant speak. =.= She even wear specs to see. LoL! Didnt manage to tell her as we're called to do our first aid case. ))=
First aid: Did very badly, to me ... even as we've won Florence's team in that particular category. I've made countless mistakes.
1. Nv ask if the place is safe.
2. Didnt complete the casualty report on time.
3. Miss out the closed fracture injury ... ... ...
Was kinda disappointed. I think Sir Tan and Mdm Asmahan (correctly spelled?) think so too, as they're looking at our case at that time.
The slideshow of pics during the competition was nice! They managed to complete the whole thing just after the competition. And after all the talkings and speeches by some unfamiliar ppl, the results are next!
CONGRATULATION TO FLORENCE ... YOU'VE GOT THE 'BEST LEADER AWARD'!!!
Florence's team got the 4th position out of 12th grps, while my team got the 5th. Although we didnt get any prize, we did a great job! The time and efforts we've put in is not wasted! To Kumar, Luqman and Shahirah's grps ... I know you all are unhappy with your results, but at least you've gain more experience than before, like what Mr Eric Koh said. I can see that you all work very hard, put in lots of effort and time in it ... just that the competitiors are too strong. But at least, you can be proud for your junior teams, rite? We definitely wont disappoint you! We'll work extra hard nxt yr ... and that's a promise! Dont you all worry ... cheer up and take care!
Headed to Lot 1 to eat our dinner, Sir Nai's treat! Ate in KFC. The sauce of the Shrooms Burger was damn salty! Yucks! ))x Cheese fries was not that bad. Chatted with Sir Nai, Florence, Jershon, XX and Shirley. Jershon was reprimanded by Sir Nai for being to arrogant. 0.o Florence and I made a promise.
Our promise: To get the 'Best Leader Award' in both nursing cadet and adult nxt yr! And Florence ... that's a promise! =DDD
Walked to some blocks to settle down before celebrating Miao Qing's birthday, without her knowing. *evil laughs* Then Shirley told me that Chin Yee and gang were looking for their suite coat, so she passed it to me and I ran all the way up the overhead bridge. Panting yet laughing. LoL! I'm crazy! Played at void deck to separate MQ's concentration. We did footdrills, chatted, played games ... and finally, Shahirah and Gordon came with the mango cake!
